Things to Know & to Bring
—  Southern Arizona summers (June–October) are hot; the rest of the year is moderate and pleasant.
—  Evenings can be cool in the desert. Bring jeans, sweater, and a few T-shirts. 
—  Bring your hiking boots, sneakers, a stainless water bottle, sleeping bag, and a backpack.
